The Pousada dos Chás, located 50 meters from the party beach of Jurerê, used to be the owner's beach house, who lives in the pousada these days. When she decided to transform the house into lodging, in 2002, she adopted the old habit to serve the afternoon tea, which she considered to be a pleasant ritual of confraternization. Then, it became the central theme of the place. The rooms get names of teas and in the garden you can find some of the herbs that are served as teas.

  
All projected according to the feng shui, the Chinese art of environment harmonization, with plants and objects that promote the equilibrium, the pousada shows a clean environment and a sophisticated decoration. Old furniture, some of them over a hundred years old, and uncountable works of art (over a hundred) are all over the lodging.

The charming environment is complemented by an arboreous garden with a seven seat heated mini-spa ("Jacuzzi"), a massage room, collective barbecue place and fruitful trees.

All the apartments are equipped with air-conditioning, cable LCD TV, box beds, mini-fridge, hairdryer, shower with solar and gas heating, safe, direct line telephone and full body mirror. Our best apartments still have DVD, whirlpool, egipician cotton bed clothes, visco-elastic pillow, Super King-size bed (2m x 2m), Split air-conditioning, magnifying mirror, microwave, retractable clothes-line and hair straightener.

We offer, included on the daily rate, a delicious breakfast with waffles and homemade jams, the exclusive afternoon tea, bird watching, parking, swimming pool, maid service, borrowing of beach utensils (towels, chairs and umbrellas), wireless internet, mini-library (over 150 works), borrowing of DVD's, playing cards and board games.

We also offer touristic advising, helping our guests to prepare an itinerary for the stay in Florianópolis, suggesting the best restaurants, bars, beaches and nightclubs. We can also provide services as: car, bicycle and boat rentals, transfers, boat trips, city tours, canoeing, rafting, abseiling, climbing, tree climbing, trails, surf classes, windsurf, kite surf, rappel, paragliding, horse rides, scuba diving, fishing, paint-ball, trekking and kennel for pets.
